Strike at the foundation was part of an Indigenous women’s group exhibition, ‘Rite of Passage’, exhibited at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Art Museum in Brisbane. Working against the dominance of oppressive institutional architecture, this work acted to subvert the social and political structures of the museum space, both literally and metaphorically.
