The sculptural and mixed-media installation responds to the visibility, hidden histories and lived experiences of Tasmanian Aboriginal, people.

Steel wool-based hanging objects are symbolic of Australia’s mission to white-wash or clean away all traces of Aboriginality.

Texturally sensuous and robust bull kelp and fabric objects speak to specific and complex Aboriginal women’s lived experiences and claim our womanhood.
